Kaiserslautern, Landau, Saarbrücken (ots) - On November 15, the main customs office in Saarbrücken in the Saarland and southern Rhineland-Palatinate checked security and security services.
A total of 87 employers and 140 employees were examined. The aim of the reviews was to combat undeclared work and illegal employment. A total of 64 customs officers were deployed at the Kaiserslautern, Landau and Saarbrücken locations in the course of the control measure.
So far, 40 suspicions have arisen in the course of the tests, which require further checks, including:

- 11 x falling below the minimum wage
- 4 x performance fraud
The employees were asked, among other things, about their employer, the length of their employment, wages and working hours. As part of the evaluations, a decision is made as to whether a business document review of the respective companies follows.
The evaluation of the reviews is still ongoing. The inspections by the main customs office in Saarbrücken were part of the nationwide security and security checks.
