Gigaset presented a new sensor at the end of September: The Gigaset climate measures the temperature and humidity in the room and transmits these values to the heating control. This increases the measuring accuracy and the comprehensive smart home system of the Bocholt telecommunications experts becomes even more intelligent.
We already presented the intelligent heating system from Gigaset in an older article (read here). With the system, you can upgrade your existing, not "smart" heating system with intelligent technology and thus generate the perfect temperature and the optimal indoor climate for you.
This is made possible by the combination of electronic, intelligent radiator thermostats in conjunction with the "Gigaset Base". There you program your individual heating times to the day and minute.
With the "Gigaset climate" sensor, it is possible to measure the temperature at any position in the room and send it to the thermostats. This makes the measurement result very precise and makes it even easier to achieve the desired temperature.
The reliability of the system increases.
Thanks to the integrated hygrometer, the sensor continuously measures the relative air humidity. If general values are exceeded, the app warns of too high or too low air humidity. As a result, mold can be prevented in the rooms and the well-being increases noticeably, since the temperature and the indoor climate can be controlled perfectly.
If you also use the door and window sensors from the German manufacturer (sensor names "door", "window" and "universal"), you can also switch off the thermostats automatically as soon as a window is opened. Then the system is "complete".
