Alzey (ots) - On the evening of October 26.10.2020th, 71, a taxi driver turned to the police in Alzey for help. The reason for this was a confused looking, XNUMX-year-old lady who did not want to leave the taxi. Before that, there had been a two-hour odyssey through the region. It turned out that the lady was from Canada and thought she was still in Toronto. She spoke only English and Greek. With great effort it could be determined that the lady had flown from Toronto to Germany that morning and had a connecting flight to Thessaloniki. It was apparently due to her confusion that she didn't get on the plane, but ended up in the taxi. They had been looking for relatives all day in Thessaloniki. A friend could be reached through the family who took the lady in and promised to put her on the plane to Thessaloniki the next day.
