Verstappen wins F1 madness in Brazil

Max Verstappen wins the penultimate Formula 1 race in Sao Paolo ahead of sister team driver Pierre Gasly and world champion Lewis Hamilton. Ferrari produces tons of carbon scrap and is eliminated.

Red Bull has booked a tailor-made weekend: The team has been on a triple victory course for a long time, but shortly before the end of the race Hamilton shoots Alex Albon, who was second in the ranking, off the track. Gasly seizes this opportunity and overtakes Hamilton, who suffered damage to the front wing as a result of the accident.

Up to the finish line, which Gasly crosses half a car in front of Hamilton, the two pilots have a fair but tough duel. Nevertheless, it could still be bitter for Hamilton: The race management is currently investigating him in terms of an accident with Albon. Then he could lose third place.

The unbelievable happened again at Ferrari: Five laps before the end of the race, Charles Leclerc overtook the four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel. This starts right on the counterattack and pushes itself next to the young Monegasque, who barely gave his teammate space on the racetrack. There was a small touch, which was sufficient for both drivers to suffer tire damage and retire at top speed.

The Finn Valtteri Bottas in the second Mercedes retired with an engine problem.
