According to witnesses, a BMW car is said to have taken the exit to BAB 8, in the direction of Neunkirchen, and shortly before the exit, it suddenly switched back to the right lane of BAB 6. As a result, a 39-year-old car driver who was in the right lane of BAB 6 at the time had to initiate an evasive maneuver. The 39-year-old lost control of his vehicle. The car skidded over the lane, hit the crash barrier on the right and finally came to a standstill in a group of trees.
