US stock exchanges fight their way upwards - Apple with a price jump

The US stock markets rose on Friday.

At the end of trading in New York, the Dow was calculated at 26.428.32 points, an increase of 0,44 percent compared to the previous trading day. A few minutes earlier, the broader S&P 500 had gained around 3.270 points (+0,74 percent), the Nasdaq technology exchange calculated the Nasdaq 100 at this point with around 10.865 points (+1,43 percent).

Apple's figures were largely well received by investors, it said. Shortly before the close of trading, the technology group's papers were at the top of the Dow list with price gains of over ten percent. The European single currency was weaker on Friday evening. One euro cost $ 1,1783 (-0,50 percent).

The gold price benefited, with $ 1.972,51 (+0,66 percent) paid for one troy ounce in the evening. This corresponds to a price of 53,82 euros per gram.
