Imsweiler (Donnersbergkreis) (ots) - On Friday night, a 28-year-old Volvo driver from the Donnersbergkreis found drug-typical abnormalities as part of a traffic control on Bundesstraße 48. Furthermore, a rapid alcohol test showed a level of 0,57 per mille. The man was forbidden to continue his journey and a blood sample was taken. His driver's license and vehicle key were preventively secured.

Administrative offense proceedings were initiated against the driver. Therefore, he must expect at least a fine of 500 euros plus procedural costs, a month's driving ban and two points in the central traffic register. In addition, criminal proceedings are initiated against him on suspicion of violating the Narcotics Act.
