Saarlouis (ots) - Today, Thursday, August 20.08.2020, XNUMX, officials of the traffic police checked an apparently overloaded small truck in Saarlouis. A fine procedure was initiated against the driver of the vehicle.

The 44-year-old driver, who had loaded his small truck with overburden at a construction site in Saarlouis, was about to transport it to the company premises in Dillingen.

Weighing the vehicle showed that the truck, after deducting the legal weighing tolerance, was 78% above the permissible total weight.

The driver was forbidden by the police to continue driving on the spot.

The police expressly point out the dangers of overloading and incorrect load securing.
