The SV Elversberg youth concept for female youth has reached the next level at the start of the 2020/2021 season.
In addition to the previous MädchenElv, which successfully participated in the youth game business in the 2019/2020 season, another MädchenElv will be added. In the next round, both will take part in the youth play business in the C-youth. "We have put together a broad base of top talents, which we are now consistently training and want to lead to the top," says department head Kai Klankert. The girls at SVE benefit from the professional structure of the club and the Saar youth academy.
In the area of trainers, the SVE focuses on continuity, but also gains. Daniel Leibrock remains head coach of the previous team, supported as before by assistant coach Cailin Hoffmann and goalkeeper coach Nadine Winckler. Coach Thomas Samsel and assistant coach Claudia Pilger are new, taking on responsibility for the second team. The 29-year-old B license holder Samsel has almost 15 years of coaching experience, among other things in the male youth of the SVE. Most recently, he was also an active player with the Bundesliga club FC Palatia Limbach. The 22-year-old pilgrim is an active player of the FrauenElv and has been on board since the start of the joint project of SV Elversberg and SV Göttelborn in 2018. Now she is committed to training the next generation.
SV Elversberg continues to cooperate with the German Football Association, the Saarland Football Association, the elite school for girls and women's football in Saarbrücken, the all-day community school Neunkirchen, the Heinrich Heine High School in Kaiserslautern and the ProSoc Academy in Landstuhl. "This talent system gives our talents the best possible development opportunities," says C-Youth head coach Leibrock.
