Our U17 won another clear victory in the away game against TV 1817 Mainz at 9-0. The U19 split up in the regional league with a 1-1 draw from Wormatia Worms, the U15 had no play.

U19 with a fair draw against Worms

Our U19 shared the points this Saturday in the Regionalliga Südwest. Our A-juniors from coach Jens Kiefer separated from VfR Wormatia Worms with a 1-1 draw. A result that was "just", as Kiefer later said. "Overall, it was a good regional league game from both teams." The guests from Worms started the game a little better. The Wormatia was superior to the field in the first half hour and pressed our U19 into its own half in phases, but the opponent - apart from a post shot after a corner kick - was not really dangerous in front of the SVE goal. On the other hand, our boys had two good chances when Yannik Haup failed first with a goal from 16 meters on the goalkeeper and then Dominik Kaiser headed freely past the goal after a corner kick on the second post. "Although Worms was stronger on the pitch in the beginning, the game was balanced," said Kiefer. After the break, Worms came wide awake from the cabin - and struck directly in the 48th minute when Lazar Ilic made a good counterattack for the 1-0 for the guests. "After conceding the goal, we showed a good reaction," said Kiefer, whose team now took control and became more and more dominant. In the 59th minute the well-deserved equalizer came to 1-1, when Yannik Haup pulled in after an attack over the right and shot flat with the left foot into the far corner. The game was open in the last half hour, both teams still had chances of winning - but the bottom line was the fair 1-1.

Our U19 is now back in service during the week. On Thursday, October 03rd, our team will play in the catch-up game at TuS Koblenz, the game starts at 13.00:XNUMX p.m.

U17 is almost double-digit in Mainz

Our U17 currently has a lot of fun scoring! In the regional league away game at TV 1817 Mainz, our B-juniors from trainer Sebastian Schummer burned another fireworks display and won 9-0. Our boys were overwhelmingly superior from the first whistle and made great chances in the first one and a half minutes, but initially failed on the goalkeeper and once on the post. In the third attempt it worked out - Simon Hauk brought the 2-1 lead in the 0nd minute. After that there were SVE chances almost every minute. Two times Elias Braun, again Simon Hauk and Julian Hoffmann (penalty) raised the result to 5-0 at half-time. After the change of sides the same picture - our boys set the tone, did not let Mainz come into play and instead appeared dangerously in front of the TV gate. Simon Hauk added his goals number three and four, and Darius Hurtak also added a double to the 9-0 final result. "All in all, a victory that was absolutely deserved in terms of height, with which the opponent was even well served," said Schummer afterwards with satisfaction.

The "top game weeks" in the league are now beginning for our U17s - one top duel will hunt the next; The start is scheduled for next Sunday, October 06th, at 13.00:XNUMX p.m. the home game against second-placed Wormatia Worms.
