The masks provided free of charge by the state government arrived in Sulzbach on Sunday afternoon. This enables the output to be specified.

Thanks to the commitment of numerous volunteers, administrative staff and comrades from the volunteer fire department and the technical relief organization, a quick delivery is possible.

In a first step, the masks will be distributed on Monday on the one hand at a so-called drive-in point in Jakob-Thome-Weg in Altenwald, and on the other hand for pedestrians on the connecting stairs from the Netto market between 9 a.m. and 16 p.m.

The access for cars is from Pastor-Hein-Straße, the exit then into Grubenstraße. Everyone is asked to remain seated in the vehicle to receive the masks or to comply with the distance rules. The ID card must be brought along.

One person can receive the masks for several fellow citizens at the same time. To do this, they must show their ID.

The distribution points set up to distribute the respiratory masks in each district will then be staffed from Tuesday, April 28:

  • Sulzbach - assembly hall and I-point at the salt fountain ensemble
  • Chicken field - construction depot
  • Neuweiler - Evangelical Church
  • Altenwald - House of the DIG, Grubenstraße 5
  • Schnappach - SV Schnappach sales pavilion on the sports field
  • Brefeld - next to the mosque in Gantestrasse

The issue takes place until Thursday every day from 9 a.m. to 16 p.m..

The following also applies here: ID must be presented for the issue. It is not necessary to collect the masks personally. One person can receive the masks for several fellow citizens at the same time. To do this, they must show their ID.

Administration staff output the masks and keep a corresponding list. Please think of your identity card.

All citizens are asked to behave carefully when collecting the masks and to pay attention to the distances between them.

For people who are unable to pick up their own masks due to health reasons, who do not have people in the family, friends and neighborhood who can help, can contact the hotline phone (06897) 508-101.
