Munich (ots) - Drivers currently have to pay a little less at the petrol pumps than they did a week ago. The average prices determined by the ADAC are 10 cents lower for one liter of Super E1,0 and 0,8 cents lower for diesel. The liter Super E10 costs 1,461 euros, diesel 1,304 euros on the national average.
The crude oil prices for the fuel type Brent barely changed at around 66 dollars compared to the previous week. However, the euro is slightly stronger against the dollar than it was a week ago. There is therefore a slight relief for motorists at the petrol stations.
The ADAC recommends that drivers always compare the fuel prices before refueling. If you take advantage of the sometimes considerable price differences between different petrol stations and especially the times of day, you can save a lot of money. According to the club, refueling is usually cheapest between 18pm and 22pm.
The smartphone app "ADAC Spritpreise" offers uncomplicated and quick help. Detailed information on the fuel market and current prices is also available at www.adac.de/tanken (https://www.adac.de/verkehr/tanken-kraftstoff-antrieb/?redirectId=quer.vpo.tanken).
