On the last day of the 2018/2019 season, our second team had to go to Tus Herrensohr II as the freshly baked champion of the Saarbrücken district league. The “Zwädd” wanted to say goodbye to the league with a win.
It got off to a good start. In the second minute of the game it was already 0: 1 for the Wambe after an own goal. Many second-row players got their wager today and did a good job. The game was determined by the "Zwädd". Martin Kupny equalized after 24 minutes before Manuel Allard (31st) and Markus Woll (43rd) increased to 1: 3.
The second half was similar to the first. However, the home team was able to shorten to 2: 3 after a corner (53.). Markus Woll (57.), Alexander Biehler (75.) and Dominik Schaum (89.) increased the result. Herrensohr ended with the 3: 6 (90th).
A good end to an excellent season. And it is even nicer to leave the league in the direction of the Landesliga Süd with a win and an unbeaten second half. Afterwards, they celebrated in a party bus and ended the day in the corner with a friend.
