The regional football association Südwest, in whose area of responsibility the game operations in the Oberliga Rheinland-Pfalz / Saar and the women's and youth regional league falls, also declared the current 2020/2021 season in the respective classes to be over on Monday. After most of our youth, junior and women's teams had already clarified at the end of last week, it is now clear that the season will not continue for our U21, U19, U17, U15 and the first women's team - at least not the regular season.
In the announcement of the Südwest-Verband it says in concrete terms: “Since there is less than the preliminary round of the competitions everywhere, the season remains without evaluation and is canceled. There are no relegated players and no promoted players from the top divisions of the three member associations will be admitted. Insofar as the association can report promoted players and qualifiers for higher-level leagues, these will be determined according to the last table status using the quotient rule (points achieved divided by the number of games with three decimal places). "
This means that our A-Juniors, B-Juniors and the women's Elv can take part in the promotion games to the Junior Bundesliga and 2nd Women's Bundesliga. According to the quotient regulation, our U19 is currently at the top of the table in the Regionalliga Südwest, with an average of 2,667 (ahead of TSV Schott Mainz with 2,571). The situation is even clearer with our U17s, who are in the Regionalliga Südwest after eight wins from eight games (3) ahead of Eintracht Trier (2,25). Our women's Elv also has an average of 3 in the Regionalliga Südwest according to the quotient rule and is therefore ahead of the second-placed 1. FC Riegelsberg (2,6)
