The Robert Koch Institute (RKI) has declared parts of France, Switzerland and the Czech Republic to be corona risk areas.

In France, the regions Occitanie, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes and Corsica are affected, in Switzerland the cantons of Geneva and Vaud and in the Czech Republic the urban region of Prague, according to the RKI's list of designations of international risk areas that was published on Wednesday evening has been updated. In addition, a travel warning has recently been issued for the Dubrovnik-Neretva and Pozega-Slavonia counties in Croatia, as well as the Iasi district in Romania.

The Dobritch Oblast in Bulgaria and the Bucau, Galati and Vrancea counties in Romania are no longer considered risk areas, it said.
