In October 2019, Ms. Miftari applied with her bachelor's thesis to the Spiegel authorities for the “Police Work Future Prize 2020”. Ms. Miftari's work was shortlisted by the expert jury - along with five other submitted works - and Ms. Miftari on 23 European police congress invited to Berlin. Together with the supervising lecturer, government director Katrin Henrichs (HdP / Cybercrime & Digital Investigations), Ms. Miftari traveled to Berlin, where she met the jury on 5 February 2020 was able to present her bachelor thesis in a personal conversation. Ms. Miftari was able to convince the jury with the promising topic of her bachelor thesis as well as her committed presentation. At the subsequent award ceremony, which was held as part of the 23rd European Police Congress took place in Berlin, the work of PK 'in Duresa Miftari was awarded the “Police Work Future Prize 2020” as the best bachelor thesis. Finally, Ms. Miftari was able to briefly explain the particular importance of her work for future police work to the plenary. She explained to the congress participants that SmartSpeakers could continue to replace “classic” Internet research in the future. The police must therefore deal with these new possibilities so that no information relevant to the investigation is lost in the future.
