Kirchheimbolanden (ots) - On September 24.09.20th, 14, at 00:87 p.m., an XNUMX-year-old received a call from an unknown man who initially announced that he wanted to visit the senior citizen. The caller tried to create the impression that the victim was the bootlegger and, after a visit was declined, pretended to urgently need a large amount of cash because of a traffic accident. After the victim announced that they did not have the requested amount, the caller halved the amount. When the caller promised to come over to the elderly woman with a friend and help her withdraw the money, the victim ended the call. It remained an attempt.
