Losheim am See - Rimlingen (ots) - On Saturday afternoon, September 27.09.2020th, 16, around 40:55 p.m., a 700-year-old helper from the Losheim area was hit by a steel girder weighing around 1,5kg during a private construction of a steel warehouse in Losheim-Rimlingen. The steel girder was lifted by means of a tractor fork for attachment to the roof. The carrier slipped from a height of about 55 m from the fork, presumably due to the wetness, and hit the XNUMX-year-old man in the head and chest area. The man was seriously injured and had to be flown to the Winterberg Hospital in Saarbrücken for medical care by rescue helicopter. The man sustained severe head and chest injuries, but is not in danger of death. The police are now investigating the user of the tractor and the client for negligent bodily harm.
