St. Ingbert-Mitte (ots) - As reported last week (press release from August 27.08.2020, 9), two cars were found in the Kleberweiher in St. Ingbert. It was already known that at least one car had been stolen and probably sunk in the pond by unknown perpetrators. In the meantime it has been found that both vehicles were probably disposed of in the pond in the context of thefts 20 and 29.08.2020 years ago. It is so far unclear whether there is a connection between the offenses. The two victims, one from Homburg and one from St. Ingbert, have since been informed of the find. With the support of the fire brigade and the city of St. Ingbert, the vehicles were already recovered from the pond on August XNUMX, XNUMX and later subjected to a search for clues by officers of the criminal police. Further investigations are still pending. Meanwhile, the pond renovation could be continued.
