Weiskirchen (ots) - Yesterday around 21:10 p.m., the police received several emergency calls at the same time that a fight was taking place at the school in Weiskichen with the participation of several people. The location was visited by two police vehicles from Wadern and a police patrol car from Merzig. The first survey on site showed that two groups of perpetrators (approx. 10-12 people) met here. Not all participants could still be found by the emergency services. The reason for the palpable disputes was the allegation of theft of a scooter in the recent past, by which one group of perpetrators was with a member of the other. Several participants in the dispute were already known to the police. In the course of the disputes, the aggression of those involved increased from throwing stones from a distance to handshakes as well as the use of a hammer, a baton and a pepper spray. Fortunately, none of those involved were seriously injured. Only items of clothing were damaged. A breath alcohol concentration of 23 per mille was found in a 1,7 year old from Weiskirchen. A 23 year old and a 19 year old, both also from Weiskirchen, admitted to smoking a joint before or the day before. In the case of a 19-year-old and his 60-year-old father, both also from Weiskirchen, after subsequent police investigations, the subject of the dispute, the stolen motor scooter, was found and secured in the garage of the home of the two. Criminal charges are being brought against four of those involved on suspicion of dangerous bodily harm. The scooter theft by the 19-year-old suspect is also reported.
