Shoplifting - no chance for repeat offenders

Saarbrücken (ots) - This Saturday morning, a police officer from the Sulzbach police spontaneously put himself on duty when he was watching a shoplifter red-handed in a supermarket in Saarbrücken. The offender was known to the official from a variety of thefts in the Dudweiler area. Today he was watched stealing whiskey. Upon leaving the market, the official then identified the perpetrator together with the previously informed management. The stolen beverage can was seized and the thief was expelled from the supermarket. Now the visibly surprised perpetrator faces a repeated criminal complaint for theft and trespassing.
