There a father wanted to cross the pedestrian crossing there with his child, who was carrying a walking bike. A first car driver stopped his car properly when he recognized the pedestrians. When the child then went to the pedestrian crossing, a second car driver overtook the car that was already stopping and thereby endangered the child on the pedestrian crossing. Fortunately, the child was not physically injured. The incident was later reported to the police. The police investigation has started and is ongoing. The overtaking car is said to have been a black Golf with a “WND circle number”. The St. Wendel police are looking for witnesses to the incident.
