Kaiserslautern (ots) - Two young men from the city area received criminal charges on Thursday for violating the Narcotics Act. Both were independently noticed at police controls in the city center in the early evening.
At around 18.15 p.m., a 19-year-old in Wilhelmstrasse caught the attention of the patrol. When the officers checked the young man, a glass container with marijuana flowers was found in his backpack. The 19-year-old did not want to provide any information about the origin of the flowers. He agreed that the glass and its contents could be seized and destroyed.
A little later, the officers on Bismarckstrasse noticed two other young men. One was an 18-year-old, his companion was only 14 years old. When the two were checked, a joint was found on the older one. This was secured - and criminal proceedings were initiated against the young man. | cri
