Riegelsberg (ots) - In the forest area directly next to the BAB 1 and the locality of Riegelsberg there has been an illegal waste deposit in the past few days.
On Tuesday lunchtime, walkers could see about 128m ^ 1 Eternit plates on the left side of the L20 / BAB 3 in the direction of wood. The police involved found the facts to be true.
Eternit is a highly carcinogenic material due to the high asbestos content. Consequently, the deposit found here is a criminal offense, which can result in imprisonment for up to five years. This type of waste disposal is harmful to animals and the environment as well as to other people. The investigation into the present case is ongoing.
So far there is no evidence of a causer. Find out about demolition work on such an amount of Eternit panels in the immediate vicinity as well as the recent past or other information on the punishable deposit should be reported to the Saarbrücken-Burbach police station on 0681 / 9715-0.
