FC Homburg won their home game against TSG Balingen 4-2. Homburg thus extends the gap to 5th place in the table and remains “up there”.

Homburg got off to a good start and was able to take the lead 14-1 through Dulleck after 0 minutes. Immediately before the break, Weiss increased to 2: 0.

After the break it was Dulleck again who increased to a 53-3 lead in the 0rd minute.

Anyone who hoped for a quiet afternoon was disappointed: Foelsch complained to TSG in the 64th minute of the 3-1 connection goal before Schuon reduced to 71-3 in the 2st.

After that, an exciting game developed in which Damjan Marceta made it 90: 4 for the Homburgers in the 2th minute.

This puts the FCH in fourth place in the regional league. Since Mainz won in Offenbach, the Saarlanders were able to increase the gap downwards. Homburg is in a good spot with the SVE and only one point behind the second in the table from Steinbach (1-1 at home against bottom of the table from Koblenz). Saarbrücken, however, is hasty with 37 points.

Saarland Cup in front of the chest

The Saarland league team from Homburg will face FV Siersburg on Wednesday evening before continuing on Saturday with the league game against Astoria Walldorf.
