Völklingen (ots) - On Tuesday afternoon around 16:45 p.m. there was a theft from a car in Rathausstrasse. A 46-year-old had parked her gray VW Golf around 13:45 p.m. in the delivery area of ​​the Globus grocery store. Unknown perpetrators had thrown the window on the passenger side with a 20 cm x 20 cm stone and stole the handbag from inside the car. This was previously visible in the footwell on the passenger side. The 3 perpetrators were observed by a witness during their escape at around 16:45 p.m. when they got rid of the stolen bag on the lowest parking level of the parking garage and fled towards Poststrasse. The three young people are said to have been between 14 and 17 years old. Two of the perpetrators wore a straw hat. The witness picked up the bag and handed it over to the information desk in the globe. Ultimately, the 46-year-old's bag was handed over. In addition to the lack of cash and various debit cards, the injured party found that the perpetrators had succeeded in using one of the cards at Globusmarkt and debiting their account with a double-digit amount.
