Bad Kreuznach (ots) - On October 11, 2020, at around 17.30:44 p.m., a patrol from the Bad Kreuznach federal police station became aware of a man who was traveling with his daughter at the Bad Kreuznach train station. The officers noticed an intense smell of marijuana from a few meters away. The XNUMX-year-old man, already known to the police, was checked to clarify the reason for the smell. Confronted with the fact, he admitted that he was carrying various prohibited items.

At the station at the Bad Kreuznach federal police station, the person and the items carried were searched. A forbidden knife, a sealed pack with approx. 200 grams of marijuana, a pack with approx. 100 grams of amphetamines, approx. 100 ecstasy tablets and other small packs of marijuana and amphetamines were found in the backpack.

The 44-year-old was provisionally arrested and handed over to the officers of the local police in Bad Kreuznach. The further investigations were carried out by the commissariat for drug crime of the criminal inspection in Bad Kreuznach, on behalf of the public prosecutor's office in Bad Kreuznach. On Monday afternoon around 14 p.m., the man was brought before the investigating judge at the Bad-Kreuznach district court. A pre-trial detention order was issued and the 00-year-old was taken to a correctional facility.
