St. Ingbert-Rohrbach (ots) - On Sunday evening, June 21.06.2020, 19, around 45:6 p.m. there was a vehicle fire on the Autobahn 1500, in the direction of Mannheim, approx. 50 m before the Neunkirchen intersection. A 911-year-old woman from Frankfurt was passing through France to Frankfurt with her Porsche 20. At the said location, the person affected heard a dull noise in the engine compartment and could only park her vehicle on the hard shoulder of the otherwise two-lane motorway. At this point, there was only smoke from the engine compartment in the rear of the vehicle. Within a few minutes, the smoke developed into a full fire in the vehicle. The woman, who was not injured, could still save her property from the vehicle. After being extinguished immediately by the St. Ingbert fire brigade, the vehicle was almost completely burned out in the rear area and in the passenger compartment. It had to be removed from the highway by a towing company. The road surface had been affected by the fire. The flow of traffic was continued in one lane even during the deployment of the fire brigade. At 45:21 p.m., the rights of the two lanes were freely accessible again. The damage assessment was completed at 10:XNUMX pm.
