After two weeks without a competitive game, our second team had to travel to SV Hermann-Röchling-Höhe for the away game. They wanted to win against the penultimate table to widen the gap to the lower third of the table.
The game started with a lot of mistakes on both sides. There were hardly any successful combinations. In the first ten minutes, the "Zwädd" had to change twice due to injury. Manuel Dillenburger and player coach Markus Woll had to leave. Out of nowhere then 0: 1 by Sascha Scheid after a corner kick by Jonas Fernsner. Just two minutes later, the first good attack over Tim Leinenweber and Aldo Testa led to the 0: 2. Testa's flank only had to insert Scheid again. Shortly before the break, Felix Stuppy had to leave the course with a concussion. So all changes were already used up at half time.
In the second round they wanted to close the sack early. However, the game continued to be too concentrated and it took up to 62 minutes for Hendrik Grätz to increase to 0: 3. Again Grätz was able to increase to 0: 4 only three minutes later. The Wambe made short work with the hosts and Sascha Scheid, the only bright spot on the day, crowned his good performance with his third goal and 0: 5. Not much happened until the final whistle and the deserved 0: 5 away win remained.
The first away win is now closed. This game had little to do with the state league level. Nevertheless, the three points were very important and now the full focus is on the game against the top team from Rockershausen. In this game you are a gross outsider. Nevertheless, everything is possible at the Franzenhaus.
