Kaiserslautern (ots) - Witnesses reported a young lady from Richard-Wagner-Strasse on Thursday afternoon who was trying to open the cars parked there.

You would have watched the girl approach several vehicles and pull the door handle. The witnesses did not see whether she could open one of the doors. After a short time, an older man approached the girl and yelled at her to stop trying to steal things from his vehicle. She then moved away in the direction of the main train station.

The police officers who arrived were able to find a 13-year-old girl in the street who matched the description of the person. When asked about the observation of the witnesses, the 13-year-old denied everything. She was bored, so she would walk around. No abnormalities were found during the search of their belongings. She could go on on her way.

Since the elderly gentleman is not known and it is not yet clear which cars have been approached, the police are asking for help: Witnesses who can give evidence or have observed something suspicious are asked to contact the police on 0631 369-2250 To contact Kaiserslautern. | elz
