Three new running routes around the Police College of Rhineland-Palatinate

Büchenbeuren (ots) - Guido Scherer, Mayor of the municipality of Büchenbeuren, opened on October 15.10.2019, 3, in the presence of Dr. Axel Henrichs, the deputy director of the University of Police in Rhineland-Palatinate, and Ernfried Groh, chairman of the Circle of Friends of the Police University, officially launched three new running routes. The new, signposted routes lead around the campus of the Rhineland-Palatinate Police University and are located in the Büchenbeuren district. They were selected beforehand and then signposted by the Büchenbeuren community. The 6, 11 and 50-kilometer routes offer varied training options and were used by XNUMX students, police officers, pensioners and citizens from Büchenbeuren for a competition right after the opening. Mr. Scherer emphasized the importance of volunteering in the implementation of this joint project by the municipality of Büchenbeuren, the University of Applied Sciences and the Friends of the University, and thanked everyone involved and helpers.

This cooperation with the municipality of Büchenbeuren represents a further step towards networking the Rhineland-Palatinate Police University within the region.
