Bingen-Bingebrück, Schlossstrasse (ots) - 16.09.2020, 12.50 p.m.

Under false pretenses, namely to be an employee of the Telekom, with the order to have to check lines, a hitherto unknown perpetrator gained access to the property of an 84 year old man. After entering, the perpetrator only left the front door ajar so that a second perpetrator could enter. He searched the premises and stole all the coins from a piggy bank in the closet. When the 84-year-old had doubts and he expressed them to the perpetrator, the latter fled the property, as did the second perpetrator who was first noticed by the injured party during the escape. One of the perpetrators was about 175 cm tall, 25 to 30 years old, slim. He had dark hair and was well-groomed. The second perpetrator was the same size, a little stronger and wore a dark headgear, not a baseball cap. Please contact the police in Bingen, phone 06721 / 905-0.
