The Frankfurt Stock Exchange initially recorded slight price gains at the start of trading on Wednesday.

Around 09:30 a.m., the DAX was calculated at around 13.235 points. This corresponds to an increase of 0,1 percent compared to the close of trading on the previous day.

At the top of the price list are papers from Deutsche Post, Delivery Hero and SAP. Contrary to the negative trend, the shares of MTU, Covestro and Allianz are currently at the bottom of the list. In the evening, the US Federal Reserve (Fed) will announce its latest interest rate decision. Market observers do not expect a new rate hike, but they do expect indications of the central bank's further monetary policy strategy. The European common currency hardly changed on Wednesday morning. One euro cost 1,1848 US dollars (-0,01 percent).
