At the start of trading on Thursday, the Frankfurt Stock Exchange initially saw hardly any price changes.

Around 09:30 a.m., the DAX was calculated at around 13.240 points. This corresponds to an increase of 0,02 percent compared to the close of trading on the previous day.

The European Central Bank (ECB) will announce its latest interest rate decision at 13:45 p.m. An increase in interest rates is excluded. The central bank will, however, stick to its ultra-loose monetary policy. At the top of the course list in the morning are the papers from Linde, Continental and Henkel. The shares of Covestro, Deutsche Bank and Munich Re are currently at the bottom of the list. The European common currency trended a little stronger on Thursday morning. One euro cost 1,1826 US dollars (+0,20 percent).
