At the start of trading on Thursday, the stock exchange in Frankfurt initially recorded significant price losses.

Around 09:30 a.m., the DAX was calculated at around 13.085 points. This corresponds to a minus of 1,3 percent compared to the close of trading on the previous day.

As expected, the US Federal Reserve (Fed) left its key interest rate unchanged at the current low level on Wednesday. It will probably stay that way for a while. Delivery Hero, Heidelbergcement and Fresenius Medical Care stocks are currently at the top of the price list. The biggest discounts are for the shares of Infineon, Volkswagen and RWE. The European common currency trended weaker on Thursday morning. One euro cost 1,1780 US dollars (-0,30 percent). The gold price was also weaker, in the morning 1.945,46 US dollars were paid for one troy ounce (-0,90 percent). That corresponds to a price of 53,10 euros per gram.
