Kaiserslautern (ots) - During a foot patrol on Wednesday morning in the pedestrian zone, police officers were approached by a man. He suspected that hemp plants would grow on a tree in Kerststrasse.

The suspicion was confirmed on site. Two hemp plants about 30 centimeters in size had been planted on a tree. The soil around the plants was loosened, so that it can be assumed that the plants were only recently planted there. The plants were dug up and secured by the officials.

There were no indications of who planted the plants there. Due to the presence of the "small plantation", the police are asking for information. Witnesses are asked to contact the Kaiserslautern police on 0631 369-2250. | elz
