Federal police stop smuggling on the Golden Bremm

Saarbrücken (ots) - On Friday, June 5, 2020, federal police officers at the Goldene Bremm border crossing ended a smuggling of three minor Afghan citizens. This was preceded by the entry control of a 50-year-old German who transported the three minors in his car. During the check, they were unable to present any identification documents that legitimize entry into the federal territory. In the survey, they stated that they had paid the driver a total of EUR 250 for the trip from Paris to Germany. Criminal proceedings were initiated against the driver for smuggling in and a security deposit of EUR 250 was levied as part of the skimming of assets. The three under-aged Afghans were brought to a youth facility.
