Rohrbach (ots) - On Thursday, April 01.04.2021st, 21 at around 38:6 p.m., the command and control center of the Saarland prison police was informed of a possible drunk driving in the area of responsibility of the St. Ingbert police station. The vehicle is a gray VW Passat with a SB circle number. The vehicle described in the notification could be detected by a security and patrol command of the St. Ingbert police station on the BAB 6, direction Zweibrücken, at the Rohrbach junction. The driver disregarded any stopping signals and initially left with her vehicle on the BAB 6 in the direction of Zweibrücken. The car then left the BAB 6 at the Waldmohr junction, only to rejoin the BAB 8 in the opposite direction (direction Saarbrücken). At the level of the Homburg junction, the fleeing car hit another car as it drove past, which was damaged by the collision. However, the journey continued. The chase continued on the BAB 269, direction Luxembourg, to the Nalbach junction. The car was then taken via the B 337 and L 66809 to the local area of XNUMX Nalbach-Körprich. During the chase, the driver disregarded all stop signals. In addition, the car was driven at significantly excessive speed and uninvolved, previously unknown road users were overtaken in a risky way and thereby endangered. Due to the danger, the pursuit was canceled.
The car was found abandoned in the course of the subsequent search measures in a parking lot in "Pastor-Woll-Weg" in 66809 Nalbach-Körprich. The driver and the two other vehicle occupants (cousin of the accused, 17 years old and child of the accused, 9 years old) were found in the immediate vicinity and then arrested without resistance.
In the course of the investigation, it was found that the driver of the vehicle does not have a valid driver's license. In addition, there was a pre-trial detention order against them. The license plates attached to the car were advertised for search purposes, the car is currently not registered.
In the case of the accused, various appearances and failures were found that indicated the consumption of narcotics.
A blood sample was taken from the driver of the vehicle and various investigative proceedings were initiated. It is presented to the standby judge the following day.
