Saarlouis (ots) - A conspicuous Audi caused a traffic accident on Saturday afternoon at around 13:40 p.m. on the B 269 between Felsberg and Saarlouis, in which a cyclist was slightly injured. The 42-year-old cyclist from Wadern was heading towards Saarlouis when the unknown car hit him while overtaking, causing him to fall to the ground. The perpetrator fled unrecognized.
Several witnesses observed the incident and were able to give the officers of the Saarlouis police a detailed description of the fugitive car. Accordingly, it was a lowered sedan from the Audi brand, type A4, which attracted attention with its tinted taillights and a bulky appearance. The car is probably dark gray, dark green or mud-colored. Witnesses who can give evidence of a vehicle of this type are asked to contact the Saarlouis police on 06831-9010.
