Rappweiler / Waldhölzbach (ots) - A 27-year-old car driver from Losheim am See had to be admitted to the Winterbergklinikum in Saarbrücken with life-threatening injuries after a traffic accident on April 09.04.2021th, 21.50 at around 373:30 p.m. Accordingly, the man drove the L 10 from Rappweiler in the direction of Waldhölzbach. In a left turn, the car probably came off the lane to the right due to excessive speed. Here the car drove through the green strip for approx. XNUMX m until it hit a stone retaining wall head-on. The car then took off, flung about XNUMX m through the air and came to the end of the accident lying on the roof. The trapped driver was freed from his vehicle by the Losheim and Weiskirchen fire departments. A blood sample was taken from the driver on suspicion of alcoholic influence. He is now being investigated on suspicion of being a traffic hazard. The route between Rappweiler and Waldhölzbach was completely closed for the time the accident was recorded. Employees from the Weiskirchen building yard were also used for cleaning and clearing up work.
