Wahlen (ots) - A 39-year-old man was found crouching behind oil barrels and arrested without resistance on Sunday morning in Losheim am See, district of Wahlen. Police officers from the North Saarland Police Station were able to locate the man who was wanted on an arrest warrant in the cellar of a house. Since he did not answer the bell and knock, the officers entered the house. During the subsequent search, the man who had been hiding in the oil room in his distress was found. After the arrest, the officers of the North Saarland police station immediately took the arrested person to the Ottweiler correctional facility. The arrest warrant was against the man for revocation of parole.
