In the whole of Germany on May 05th, the focus will be on cycling safety as part of the traffic safety campaign "afe.mobil.leben ". This year around 8.000 police officers across Germany will have an “eye on cycling safety”. In the area of ​​the Mainz police headquarters alone, around 80 additional emergency services will be on duty and carry out controls. The service district of the PP Mainz includes the state capital Mainz, as well as the districts of Mainz-Bingen, Alzey-Worms, Bad Kreuznach and parts of the Donnersbergkreis.
