Munich (ots) - Fuel prices continue to decline in a national comparison. This is the result of the current ADAC market evaluation. Accordingly, a liter of Super E10 currently costs an average of 1,206 euros. This corresponds to a decrease of 1,4 cents compared to the previous week.
Diesel also fell again this week. For a liter, consumers at the petrol pumps pay an average of 1,037 euros and thus 0,4 cents less than last week.
This has an effect on the price difference between the two fuels, which has decreased again and is currently 16,9 cents. Crude oil prices play an important role in the development of fuel prices. A barrel of Brent crude currently costs around $ 40, around $ XNUMX cheaper than last week.
The ADAC generally recommends that drivers compare fuel prices before filling up. If you take advantage of the sometimes considerable price differences between different gas stations and times of day, you can save a lot of money. According to the club, refueling is usually cheapest between 18pm and 22pm. The smartphone app "ADAC Spritpreise" offers uncomplicated and quick help.
