St. Ingbert-Mitte (ots) - In the night from Saturday to Sunday, June 21.06.2020, 02, a traffic accident occurred at 05:36 a.m. in the Wiesenstraße in St. Ingbert, not far from the confluence with the Klaus-Stief-Straße a cyclist. This, a 36-year-old man from St. Ingbert, was riding his pedelec down Wiesenstrasse, in the direction of the city center. For unknown reasons, the man hit the car of a 1500-year-old resident parked on the side of the road. He hit the hood and windshield of the vehicle and luckily injured only slightly, but had to be treated in a nearby hospital. The bicycle and the parked vehicle were damaged by the impact (damage around XNUMX EUR). In the course of the accident recording it turned out that the cyclist was heavily alcoholic. He now has to assert himself in criminal proceedings because of the risk to road traffic. The ride will also have an impact on the cyclist's license.
