As of today Schlossberghöhlen reopened

As of today, May 11, 2020, the Homburger Schlossberghöhlen will be open again.

The caves can be visited daily from 09 a.m. to 00 p.m. in compliance with the Corona hygiene measures.

Last admission is at 16 p.m.

As the Schlossberg caves may only be opened if the Corona hygiene measures are observed, visitors are asked to comply with the current hygiene rules. Wearing mouth-nose protection is recommended because the caves are closed spaces - similar to a supermarket.

Hand disinfectants are also available. Tours will not be available for the foreseeable future, says Susanne Niklas, head of the culture and tourism department.

Admission is per person / family to avoid group gatherings. The Schlossberghöhlen team is looking forward to welcoming visitors again. Sturdy shoes and appropriate clothing are recommended when visiting, as the temperature is constantly 10 degrees.

In order to rectify the accumulation of people in the waiting area, it is desirable to register by telephone on 0 68 41/20 64. The photo exhibition "Fantastic Worlds" of the Saarland PopRate will be extended until Sunday, August 30th due to the closure of several weeks.
