Kaiserslautern (ots) - During the night from Thursday to Friday, the Kaiserslautern motorway police received several emergency calls regarding a cyclist on the A63 between the Winnweiler and Sembach junctions. A 53-year-old man was actually found driving on the hard shoulder at the location mentioned by a patrol crew. As a reason for his behavior, he stated that he had missed the last train from Winnweiler to Kaiserslautern. Since he saw no other way to get in the direction of Kaiserslautern, he put on a safety vest and took the route via the autobahn. The two police officers explained to him that it is not a good idea to cycle home on the motorway at night in the dark. They brought him and his vehicle to the next exit. | Past
