Saarbrücken / Dudweiler (ots) - This morning (May 27.05.2020, 32), investigators from the State Police Headquarters (Department of Crimes Against Life and Sexual Self-Determination) arrested a XNUMX-year-old in his apartment in Dudweiler on the basis of an arrest warrant.
The man is suspected of having sexually assaulted two women in Dudweiler in March and May of this year by persecuting them in public and then, after a robbery, improperly touched various parts of the body. Then he took flight.
Testimonies and traces led to the person arrested today. After the arrest warrant was announced at the Saarbrücken district court, the man was taken to the Saarbrücken prison.
Investigators suspect that there may have been other incidents, including victims, of the same man. Potential victims or witnesses are asked to contact the long-term crime service (Tel. 0681 962-2133), the local police inspection in Sulzbach (Tel. 06897 9330) or any other police station.
The investigation continues.
