In the first Sunday game of the fourth day of the Bundesliga, 1. FC Köln played 1-1 against Eintracht Frankfurt.

After four match days, Cologne got their first point. Frankfurt is fourth with eight points.

In the first round, the game was tough and without many highlights. Shortly before the break, the guests took the lead thanks to an André Silva penalty. The referee had previously only decided on the penalty after video evidence. Even after changing sides, the guests put pressure on. The equalizer by Ondrej Duda in the 52nd minute came out of nowhere. Afterwards, however, the home side came into play better. The game was quite open from that point on. In the end, it stayed with the division of points. For Cologne it continues on Friday in Stuttgart. Frankfurt is challenged in Munich on Saturday.
